Hey Blaise, thanks for the opportunity to check out your course. I saw your post on Reddit in the Real Estate Photography forum and jumped on the opportunity to see what I can learn from you. I'm fairly new to real estate photography and I've been getting asked more and more about shooting video. This has been a big help. I'm based out of Toronto. In general, the way your course is broken up is quite comprehensive. I wanted to point out that the audio when talking to the camera comes in primarily in the left ear. I was wearing Bose Quite Comfort headphones while watching your course and it was fairly quiet as a result. There was an edit overdub that caught me by surprise because the audieo was equal in both ears and louder than everything else. I understand you are a media company and do quite a bit of other work, but did you have a teired pricing plan for real estate? For example a basic walkthrough price vs walkthrough + aerial footage? How much value did you put in for drone footage and how did you price for it? I also wanted to mention I originally bought the Mavic 2 Pro to pilot, but it comes with restrictions and regulations as your highlighted. I ended up buying a Mavic Mini 2 which allowed me to start up much quicker because it qualifies below government regulations with the weight being 249 grams. It was much easier to pilot the Mavic Mini 2 as the size is much more forgiving to fly in confied air spaces. There are a number of airports in the GTA and it was much easier flying with permission with the Mavic Mini 2 to start. One thing that felt like it was missing from the course was you mentioned using a light for dark homes or rooms, but there was no course chapter showing you using it. It would be good to see a bit of tips for lighting placement and setup, what you find are acceptable shadows in the room from the light, and anything else to look out for. For example, when filming in your living room in the No Gimbal Chapter, there was a fairly significat shadow from your dining room light cast on the wall. Would an agent have been upset at the shadow? Overall, I enjoyed the course. Perfect length. You spoke clearly through the videos and it was easy to follow. A lot of what you talked about reaffirmed that I'm on the right track. Do you have a hot key cheat sheet for your editing workflow? You also mentioned a contract example in the resource section of the course, but I can't it on the website.
